Food is always best when shared and the Epicurean menu is a carefully curated selection of signature share boards featuring…
Our terrines, rillettes, and pâtés are handmade in-house, using traditional methods in small batches and are the perfect match to artisan crafted cheeses and charcuterie. Meats used are sourced locally in the Atherton Tablelands wherever possible

What’s a grazing board without handcrafted cured meats? Mediterranean delicacies such as prosciutto, salami, capocollo, and more are an important part of our delicious grazing boards
Our Mother Dough is over 13 years old and is the base for our sourdough baguettes which are hand rolled and baked fresh daily.
From authentic French mustards to tangy cherry or truffle onion compotes to bold olive tapenades and creamy French butter. Our condiments are handpicked to complement each grazing board.
Sometimes it’s the little touches that elevate a grazing board from good to exquisite. Spiced baby figs, braised red cabbage, anchovies, olives, or pickled onions or pears or cornichons are matched to suit each share board.
We like to mix it up a little with daily specials – be sure to check them out when you come in. You may even find some delicious fresh seafood options to enjoy

“Epicurean is an absolute highlight and Rohan and Marlene are the perfect hosts. Their platters represent such a delicious array of flavours. Their menu recommends wines for each platter but any wine chosen will perfectly compliment your grazing experience. Their venue feels like you've slipped into a European oasis for the afternoon. Always book ahead and allow yourself a few good hours to make the most of this gastronomic indulgence.”

Grazing boards and wine go hand in hand of course.
Our wines are unique and “autobiographical” as one of our guests described. A combination of fond memories, exceptional cellar door experiences, and pure love of the wines showcasing 16 Australian wineries and an extensive selection of over 80 wines.
“We had an amazing experience, friendly down to earth service and the food and wine were divine. So welcoming and relaxing. Food and wine matching was perfect. We will be back and highly recommend. Thank you.”

“If you want to sit and relax with great wine, delicious cheeses, pates, meats, breads and all the accompaniments over a long lunch with friendly hosts, then you must go to Epicurean. It's great that they are going against the norm of restaurants rushing people through a lunch service to cram as many in as possible, if you want to have a 3 hour lunch, you can!
Limited tables so booking is a must.”

“Warm and welcoming, just such a joy to see true professionals in action. Everything about this place is a 10 out of 10 and If I could only eat at one place in Port Douglas, this would be it!
The concept is perfect for the warm weather; terrines, pate, all perfectly seasoned and served. Highly recommended by myself, as a former food critic of The Age, Melbourne.”
